Two silhouettes stand in proximity, each one built entirely from horizontal lines of cursive script in gold on black, so the boundary between a figure and what it contains does not exist. The larger form anchors the left; the smaller holds the right, and the space between them is pure black ground.
Two people, made of language, facing each other across a silence. The title carries both meanings at once: the space between lines of text, and the space between people who share one. What runs through each figure is the same act of inscription , connection here is not touch but composition, two separate bodies assembled from the same written substance.
